It’s that time of year again, where you get to participate in the fun of boombox travel! One grand prize winner will receive the opportunity to have their photo and story featured on the blog, a limited edition record and a fancy never before shared story typed up from me on a swanky typewriter. Here’s the fine print:

Contest runs from 5/23/2019 until 11:59PM CST 8/9/2019.

1. Select and print a copy of the above Boombox. Feel free to decorate! While not required, decoration is a cool way to make your entry stand out. (Pro Tips: if you do decorate, please keep the website title clear on your printout. Also, if you have heavier card stock paper, it can make photo-ing at a location much easier.)
2. Find a location you would like to see featured as a haveboomboxwilltravel location. This can be a local spot or even a pleasant snapshot from a vacation. Take your picture!
3. Submit the photo to rperry.713@gmail.com with the subject as “DIY Boombox 2019” before the contest deadline. Include your name, contact email, short explanation of the location and any soundtrack recommendations.
4. (1) Grand prize winner will be selected and contacted no less than a week after the contest ends by the contact details included in the selected winner’s email.

No purchase is necessary. This is not a contest sponsored by social media channels. Let’s have some real fun this year and share some great memories!

P.S.: If you feel like saving some paper, you can save the boombox image to your phone and pull up at a location. Just remember to focus the screen on the image at the time of photo, and do everything to prevent screen glare. Illegible entries risk disqualification based on blog discretion.
